Villa Verde Resort
Cape Verde Travel is proud to present the new Villa Verde Resort – Santa Maria. Situated on the island of Sal, it is 15 minutes away from the airport by car, which receives 3 weekly flights directly from UK airports - Birmingham, Manchester and Gatwick.
This resort is freshly launched, with an assortment of accommodation to suit all needs including studios, 1, 2 and 3 bedroom apartments, townhouses which can accommodate up to 6 people, and villas that can expend for up to 8 people with their own pool. Some facilities can receive a hotel service, including meals. The resort includes many restaurants, bars, swimming pools, water sport facilities, spa treatments, a fitness centre; children’s play area, tennis courts, a library and also parking. Car hire is available, though many places are within walking distance, such as supermarkets, recreation areas, country clubs and the beach.
The resort is situated between the working town of Asparagus and the holiday Village of Santa Maria. Villa Verde is independent from the island, and is available to its own private beach. During Autumn 2010 – Spring 2011, the facility will go through a soft opening, meaning there will be some finishing off of the remainder of the resort.
Accommodation
The accommodation is new, well furnished, including up-to-date and fast communications. All the studios and apartments are air-conditioned, contain living rooms, bathrooms, kitchens and all have terraces with panoramic views, creating a light and airy atmosphere. 24 hour hotel services are available to all residents. Quotations are available for long and short stay customer.
The town houses and the villas all include a living room, kitchen, dining room, upto 3 bathrooms, balconies and terraces. The villas also have an additional outdoor swimming pool to the rear.
For the self caterers, there are fully equipped kitchens in the apartments, with microwaves, electric hobs and cooker. There are many markets within 15 minutes drive of the resort, and local fish is easily available.
Island of Sal
Places of Interest within Sal would be the beautiful Salt Caverns, the little village of Palmeira, plus the local woodland with peaceful spots for picnics and bird watching.
